Eight of Coins

Evelyn Trevelyan (Female Human Inquisitor)

Significance: The eight is known to equally create and destroy.  I think it goes without say that the Inquisitor is very much capable of both.

The card itself represents: Enjoyment of work and interesting work projects, a beneficial career, rewarded expertise, consistency and concentration, apprenticeship, promotion, satisfying work, expertise and lifelong skills, etc.

Reversed: Loss of contacts, business failure, short-term vision in work, minimal rewards, poor investments, lack of practical skills, dissatisfaction, lack of discipline or lack of book-keeping skills, etc.

She looks through a hoop of pure white, a symbol of wholeness and unity, reflecting the divine female energy of the power that drives her, her hair almost a second circle, enveloping her face in the golden colours of her family’s nobility.  A pattern of stars line the background behind her pale blue dress, representing healing and understanding, as a bright light shines behind her, its rays extending towards red heraldry, life and light, a representation of what she embodies.

What I think this means for DA: There is much history involving the humans, and much darkness was brought onto Thedas by humans; Darkspawn.  It would be interesting to see humans shed light on some truth, perhaps much of it is hidden in the Chant of Light.  Hopefully and presumably, scholars in Thedas will have some revelations in regards to all that.
